The Bohle TinCheck® BO5164615 is a device used to determine which side of a glass pane was in contact with the tin bath during production — information that’s essential for correct installation, especially in coated or laminated glass applications, yet invisible to the naked eye. TinCheck® solves this problem by quickly and reliably identifying the tin bath side of soda-lime glass using modern LED technology. Simply place the handy, portable device on the glass surface, press the start button, and the result is displayed instantly and stays visible for easy reading — no complex setup or technical expertise required.
For more detailed analysis, TinCheck® also offers a “user mode” that displays numerical values for each side of the glass, enabling comparative measurements on special glass types — the side showing the higher number is the tin side. Compact, portable, and easy to use, this device is ideal for glaziers, glass manufacturers, and quality control professionals working with soda-lime glass.
