This solvent-free, neutral one-component adhesive is based on silicone and is perfect for stress-compensating mirror bonding on wood, concrete, stone, glass, metal, and more. Porous surfaces must be pretreated with a primer, but other than that, Xtragrip® is easy to use and provides a permanent, elastic bond that won’t attack the mirror coating

Xtraprime is a product that improves the adhesion of Xtragrip Mirror Adhesive on porous substrates. It is also recommended for use with other silicones or MS polymers. With increased moisture exposure, the use of Xtraprime for pre-treatment is still recommended. Xtraprime is thin and transparent, making it easy to apply.
Application:
Processing temperature + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C. The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease. Apply Xtraprime undiluted and sufficiently with a brush. Before processing Xtraprime must be completely dry (about 60 minutes at + 20 ° C / 65% rh). Xtraprime can be applied a second time to achieve full surface wetting of the substrate. Xtraprime should be protected from moisture and dirt after application. Range approx. 5 m² / liter, depending on the nature of the substrate.

LV 740 is the suitable adhesive for quickly producing crystal-clear glass-glass edge bonding. It is moisture-resistant and therefore, in combination with Pyrosil®, very suitable for bonding in bathrooms or for hot or cold counters. Low cleaning effort saves additional time. It is high-strength and yet slightly elastic. Static and light dynamic loads are compensated. Showcases, display cabinets and similar constructions can be manufactured in rational production cycles as the adhesive is suitable for common dispensing systems. LV 740 is also regularly used in the construction of showers.
